Professional Judgement Pilot
In our report Hitting The
Target, Missing The Point we argue for probation to be freed
from the over-regulation that has stifled effective practice for so
long. A Professional Judgement Pilot, to test a relaxation of the
rules and allow staff the freedom to focus their work in the most
efficient and effective ways, has been run in Surrey and Sussex.
