Collaboration With NOMS Results In Enhanced Performance
Data
Representatives from 12 Trusts and officials from NOMS have worked
together to introduce transparent and more easily-understood
reoffending statistics.
It's Official: Probatin Trusts Are
Excellent
The 35 Probation Trusts of England and Wales become the first
public sector winners of the British Quality Foundation's
prestigious Gold Medal for Excellence for outstanding, continued
commitment to excellence over a number of years. (Including
picture and link to magazine feature.)
A New Focus For SBC Work
The FORT (Future Options Round Table) group, formed three years
ago to provide ideas on best value options and a sounding board on
proposals for NOMS's Specification, Benchmarking and Costing (SBC)
programme, has closed.
Chief Settles In
New Chief Executive Mark Ormerod has been busy meeting key
individuals such as Crispin Blunt, Colin Allars and representatives
from MoJ and PCA.
Irish News
A delegation from the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech
Republic has visited the Northern Ireland Probation Board of a
fact-finding mission.
Plus more, including a picture of the Association team at our
stand at the recent Achieving a Rehabilitation Revolution
conference.
