the criminal justice agenda and the Government's planned reform of
sentencing and rehabilition. Two peers and a number of trust chairs
give their views.
Inside are in-depth interviews with Michael Spurr, Chief
Executive of NOMS, and the outgoing chairman of the Association,
Alan Wooderson. His successor, Sebert Cox, outlines his vision for
the organisation and the challenges facing the service.
Also featured: Unison's Ben Priestley gives his views on the
probation environment; John Steele, Chair of Surrey and Sussex
Probation Trust, describes their pilot to test less bureaucratic
ways of working; and the Association's Jo Whyte explains her role
and her interest in criminal justice.
